:: M.I.U. "Tonfa" Battering Ram
The M4-VI "Tonfa" is a high powered Mobile
Infantry siege weapon. The front section
of the battering ram is connected to the
main unit via two hydraulic pistons, which
can be fired at high speeds with immense
destructive force. Used to breach through
rubble, locked hanger doors, or to clear
through other obstacles, this device can
also be used as a devastating melee weapon
against other MIU units.
Armed at the tip with a diamond-sharp spike, the battering ram can impale machines, puncturing a deep hole in their armor, dealing precise surgical damage, and allowing access to the internal wiring and mechanics of an MIU. It is mainly used to pierce through the cockpit, and thereby killing the pilot. Also located at the tip of the battering ram is a small torch, which is able to wield metals together, or be used as a cutting tool, to carefully slice through obstacles with more accuracy.
Urban and city police MIUs are often outfitted with weaker models, however SWAT units may be equipped with military standard versions.

:: M.I.U. Chain Whip
The MIU chain whip is a diverse and modular weapon consisting of two major units: the grip, and the saw.
This weapon can be used up to five different ways: |
:: Hand Grip
The grip is a hand held unit, armed with a sharp spike, similar to that found with the Tonfa. It can be used as a dagger, and is able to pierce through thick armor. |
|
|
|
:: Saw Axe
If a saw module were to be connected to the grip, it could then be used as a hand-held motorized hack-saw. The razor sharp teeth of the saw module can also change their position to form that of a blade, which can then be used as an axe-like weapon, capable of hacking & slicing through various objects. |
|
|
|
:: Brass Knuckle
Designed in a way to function as an MIU 'brass knuckle', a single motorized saw module can be held in one hand for melee combat.
|
|
|
|
:: Saw Whip
By connecting multiple saw modules with one hand grip, a chain link can be formed and used as a whip. The teeth of the saw modules will position themselves to form a blade. A single blow to a machine can be devastating, due to the onboard AI guidance control of each saw module, which will interact with one another, adjusting the trajectory of the whip in motion, in order to deal the most accurate attack possible.
Although the chain whip undergoes severe wear and tear, it may not be an official, or suggested configuration, but MIU pilots have found it to be quite useful, regardless of what the manual recommends. |

:: Saw Pole
Consisting of two grips and multiple saw units, the Chain Saw is held with two hands, and has two major functions. The saw units can be fastened together to form a solid, straight line of modules, which can then be used by two MIUs to saw through a structure (similar to two persons cutting down a tree with one large saw). The saw units can also be loosely attached to one another, forming a two handed, flexible saw, able to wrap around an object.
If the chain saw were to wrap itself around a limb of an MIU, it could easily shred it to pieces.
One of the most recently known uses of the chain saw, was during the skirmish in New Berlin, where an MIU unit from the Savage Huskies wrapped the weapon around the leg of an Iguana-1 T.W.T., causing enough damage to gain access to the internal structure of the machine, ultimately immobilizing the unit.
