Established shortly after the fall of the GTO, the EDU is comprised of leaders from around the globe, as well as representatives of the Ethonian Monarchies.

After the disclosure of the GTO’s false flag policies and the growing concern over the decaying relations between the newly established colonies on Ethonia and the planet’s indigenous population, world leaders agreed to reform the GTO, offering government run programs which ensured the well being and prosperity of both worlds.

The world finally saw a chance to break free from its previous fascist rule, and embark on a new era of a better and brighter future. By tearing down monopolies whose only goal was it to earn a profit by holding the technological advancement of mankind hostage; it would not only allow the world more efficient research and faster distribution of newly achieved technologies, but also allow unrestricted cooperation between Earth and Ethonia.

A Long Road Out Of Hell

The EDU is seen as the exact opposite of the GTO, and rightfully so. The founding principle of this new government, is to establish a permanent and peaceful relationship between man, Ethonian and other species we may encounter, scattered across the stars.

Another goal is to restore freedom on Earth by abolishing the police state, which ruled over the lives of millions across the world.

Ever since the end of the 20th century, people have become more common, abandoning any motivation of achieving a future goal, not accepting any sense of morality, responsibility or retaining any rational reasoning whatsoever. During the reign of the GTO things only got worse. It was very rare to encounter someone who had not gotten used to the decaying society which was surrounding, and imprisoning them.
 

Saving A Decaying World

The GTO left the world in ruin. Overpopulated and dangerously polluted, the Earth was on the brink of becoming the largest ball of rotating garbage in our solar system. New efforts were made to resurrect extinct animal life, restore plant life and to reduce dangerous levels of toxic emissions, slowing down the already immense deadly threat of man-made climate change. Although the (re)terra-forming process of Earth would take many generations, the goal has been set and companies all over the globe, including many Ethonians, are working hard to make Earth one could be proud to call “home”.
 

A Goal, One Of Many

During the days of the GTO, the search for the makers of the star maps, left hidden within ancient structures on Earth, were kept classified from the rest of the world. Believing to have found one of the planets marked on these maps, the discovery of Ethonia was withheld from the public for many years.

Now knowing that intelligent extra terrestrial life does exist, and that the possibility of these ancient star maps may contain clues on finding more habitable planets, mankind opened its mind and accepted the exploration of space for the benefit of our and other species we may encounter along our journeys.
 

A.R.S. – Archaeological Research & Support

“One must learn from the past to better prepare for the future” – This motto is widely used by the EDU’s ARS division, dedicated to allow open and unrestricted archaeological research of ancient sites. All research is declassified and offered to debate, using a network of communities, where everyone, ranging from hobby researchers to geologists and field experts can partake in the study of recent findings.

The EDU has a classified policy, allowing the use of military personnel to protect a site, if a “significant” finding has been uncovered.
