The seven royal Ethonian Monarchies:

 

Marathe (Truth)

Type: Republic
Colors: Gold, Silver, Blue
History: As the first Ethonian monarchy ever to be established, the Marathe are Ethonia’s most powerful and respected royal family of Ethonia.

Marathe was an elder of the “Saleya” tribe who wanted to work with the humans (GTO) during the first years when mankind first traded culture with the Ethonians. Being inspired by the human ways of politics and government, the elder “Marathe” decided the tribe should form a kingdom and thus take their first steps into a new brave world for Ethonia; a future in which both man and ethonian would work together for the benefit of both worlds and species.

“Drazaek”, a follow elder and friend of Marathe feared any change to that of the old ways and suggested strongly against it. They both stood firmly to their beliefs until the council decided that the two of them should fight for supremacy. Whoever would win, would decide the future of the Saleya tribe. Marathe won, and Drazaek was disgraced as he fled the country to form his own tribe and live by the old ways. Marathe was crowned ruler of the first Ethonian royal family and thus formed a cooperative friendship with the humans as both planets celebrated a bright new future, a new direction for our worlds.

 

Moharu (Honor)

Type: Hunters and Warlords
Theme: Forest, Earth
Colors: Green, Blue, Gold
History: The Moharu were established a century after the Marathe monarchy. Founded by a band of warlords from the southern continents, they’ve chosen their tribe’s most wise and strongest elder to rule over their people. They follow the code of honor, and are fiercely trained, well disciplined warriors, the best of all monarchies.
The Moharu tribe originally came from the lush southern forests near the EDU city “Colonia”, where they lived near a tribe of Akeshi who taught them the way of the hunter. They are a very kind, social, and have ironically, never been in any wars. The beauty of nature is what they fight to protect. Like lightning they strike up on those who pollute it.

 

Elasura (Those Who Strive)

Type: The builders of cities, those who have traversed the seas
Theme: Pyramids, forest, sand, oceans, sea life
Colors: gold, silver, blue, white
History: The Elasura Monarchy was a tribe who created the first Ethonian city, an advanced and glorious civilization under the watchful eye of the Akeshi. They are closely related to the Marathe, but due to that monarchy’s famous past history, the Elasura are seen as the “second” most powerful monarchy of Ethonia.
They live in the eastern parts of Ethonia, where the forests, waters and deserts meet. Their culture reflects its beauty and elegance with highly decorated cities. The extensive use of gold, blue, white and silver are used to make their structures stand out most of all. Their people love the thrill of creating new technologies, exploring the seas and composing music. When humans first saw the white golden pyramids or Ethonia, near the shores, were they struck with awe in how large and incredibly detailed they were, calling the Elasurians the “golden civilization”. They are also seen as masters of the seas and have traveled across the entire planet to deal with other tribes, making them the biggest Ethonian culture to ever exist.

 

Kasalis (Loyalty)

History: A monarchy founded on loyalty to others and to within. An incredibly supportive monarchy who originated from a tribe far east of Ethonia. They honor the spirits of the wild and their culture reflects upon that with armor and weapons made and decorated with fur, shells, etc..
Many Kasalis soldiers serve in the Marathe monarchy as royal guards.

 

Jarente (Astronomy)

Type: Astronomers, explorers
Theme: Stars and Space
Colors: dark blue, silver, black
History: Named after the second moon of Ethonia, the Jarente are cartographers of the stars. Given enough time, they could have eventually discovered Earth before mankind found Ethonia. They sleep during the day and live during the night. Their lust to venture forth into the stars is so great, they were the first Ethonians to help the GTO and later on the EDU to explore their solar system, making them the first Ethonians to leave the planet.
They believe the night is sacred, since the Pioneers landed on Ethonia during the night, according to ancient texts.

 

Isid (Rebirth)

History: As rulers of the western continents, the newly established Isid Monarchy believe in not that what the Akeshi have taught Ethonians, but more in the progression of the Ethonian species on their own account, although outside help is welcome (if more advanced than they are). Although a new monarchy, the Isid are somewhat lacking in their governing skills and constantly seek help from the Marathe monarchy.

 

Silkora (Grace and Elegance)

Colors: purple, gold, silver
History: Ruled by Queens and princesses, rather than kings, the Silkora monarchy originated from an Ethonian tribe who used diplomacy and traded perfumes and incense with other tribes to gain their trust and friendship. They strive for beauty and elegance in their craft. They rule over the north western continents and are the smallest monarchy.
Their way of life as a maternity, has given them a large amount of respect from others and are seen as a people who enjoy life for what it is through song and dance.
